Cadence: These sessions can be conducted in person or virtually for local and state SHRM chapters, as well as other professional organizations seeking SHRM-certified credit programs.

  • Analyze examples of ethical and unethical practices.
  • Explore business ethics and what that means for organizational leaders.

Cultivating Your Ability to Lead Strategically (3-hour program)

Previously presented to: Maryland SHRM in partnership with John Mauck 
  • Leaders will consider their role in their organization.
  • Leaders will be able to identify potential roadblocks to leading, including current situations in their workplaces.
  • Leaders will learn the differences between leading and managing.
  • Leaders will learn how to align HR initiatives with the company’s strategic plan.
  • Leaders will learn how to continuously assess their personnel to ensure they have the right people, at the right time, with the right skills to meet the strategic goals of the organization.
  • Leaders will evaluate and effectively measure the return on investment in professional training and development.

Keeping People Interested, Empowered, and Motivated (1-hour program)

  • Understanding the nature of motivation and the drivers for individuals and teams.
  • Learn how to tailor motivation techniques to effectively drive team performance and development.
  • Engage in self-motivation in order to optimize your personal energy and performance so you can be the “high-bar” for the team and organization as a whole.
 

Strategic Leadership Workshop (3-hour program)

  • Leaders will elevate their mindsets from effective managers working “in” the business to strategic and innovative organizational leaders working “on” the business.
  • Leaders will explore adaptive leadership and their leadership style. They will understand how to assess a situation and match the necessary leadership style to the situation.
