Strategic Leadership Workshop

During this interactive workshop, HR Leaders will learn to think as strategic leaders and align long-term business strategies with the day-to-day execution of responsibilities by assessing people and systems. The workshop will first focus on helping HR Leaders elevate their leadership mindsets and skills to strategically lead within their organizations. HR Leaders will reflect on their leadership style to better understand their usual style, strengths, and areas for improvement. They will also assess their ability to adapt their leadership style to meet their organization’s needs. Next, HR Leaders will focus on the strategic techniques needed for organizational leadership. HR Leaders are active partners in the organization’s strategic planning process by aligning the strategic plan with the recruiting, onboarding, training, and retention programs. Forecasting the needs of the organization and its people can ensure that their people are growing in parallel with the organization to meet strategic goals.
Session Objectives:
- Leaders will elevate their mindsets from effective managers working “in” the business to strategic and innovative organizational leaders working “on” the business.
- Leaders will explore adaptive leadership and their leadership style. They will understand how to assess a situation and match the necessary leadership style to the situation.
- Leaders will learn to align HR initiatives with the company’s strategic plan.
- Leaders will learn how to continuously assess their personnel to ensure they have the right people, at the right time, with the right skills to meet the strategic goals of the organization.
- Leaders will evaluate and effectively measure the return on investment in professional training and development.
