HR Leadership: Adapting to the Future of Work with Confidence
Speaker: Mike Nally
Traditional business strategies focused on establishing static competitive advantages are becoming less effective in the face of rapid change in our world today. Companies are now recognizing the importance of adaptability as a competitive advantage, shifting focus towards their people and organizational capabilities that foster rapid adaptation. One component is an organization’s leadership team`s ability to adapt its leadership style to meet the company’s and team’s needs. HR leaders will evaluate their current leadership style, explore alternative styles and learn to assess situations accurately to deploy the appropriate leadership style. By learning to adapt, HR leaders won’t be asked to change who they are at their core yet use their years of experience and new knowledge to make a leadership choice and create a competitive edge.
Session Objectives:
- HR leaders will understand that the ability to adapt their leadership style is a competitive advantage for their organization in the workplace of the future.
- HR leaders will evaluate the leadership styles as described by Daniel Goleman and identify the most used leadership styles at work.
- HR leaders will explore adaptive leadership in order to assess a situation and create a plan that allows them to match the necessary leadership style to the situation and the team.
