Our Coaching Process

Meaningful, measurable results through accelerated development

Before people can make progress, they have to understand what’s standing in their way. We use  assessments that give insight into the obstacles that are preventing individuals from performing at their peak. Then we provide proven, personalized coaching to address issues at their root and overcome them.

We are certified to use a variety of assessments to help individuals discover their potential. We find the Birkman Method® to be particularly effective. To begin, we review the results of the Birkman assessment and provide a detailed report that highlights strengths, avoids harsh criticisms or judgments, and encourages professional growth.

These results form the foundation of for one-on-one coaching sessions. We regularly track and measure progress against these objectives, including setting new objectives as the previous are met, to ensure that coaching is having the desired impact on the individual and, in turn, the business.

Building a Strong Foundation

Complete the Birkman Assessment

Your coaching journey begins with completing the online Birkman Assessment, a crucial tool for personal and professional growth. We incorporate this assessment as a core component of our executive coaching program because it provides valuable insights that help you self-manage, avoid unproductive behaviors, and enhance your leadership effectiveness. While we are certified in various assessments, we find the Birkman particularly effective. You will receive an email with a link to access the assessment, and we will also schedule your first coaching session at this time. Read more about our approach and the assessments we use here.

Your First Coaching Session

Coaching Session #1: Meet Your Coach & Birkman Conversation

In this initial session, you’ll have the opportunity to build rapport with your coach and set the stage for a positive coaching experience. Your coach will walk you through the results of your Birkman Assessment and provide a detailed report outlining your assessment insights.

Unlocking Your Learning Hub

Preparation for Coaching Session #2: Access the Nally Learning Hub & Complete the Pre-Coaching Questionnaire

After your first session, you will receive access to the Nally Learning Hub, which will support you throughout your coaching journey. A quick tour of this Hub will demonstrate its features and how you can best utilize the resources. Additionally, before your second session, you will be asked to complete a Pre-Coaching Competency Questionnaire that will be linked to your Learning Hub. This questionnaire will serve as a foundation for future sessions, offering your coach valuable insights into your leadership goals, business objectives, and current management skills.

Defining Your Path Forward

Coaching Session #2: Setting Leadership & Business Goals

In this session, you and your coach will work together to align on the leadership and business goals you aim to achieve throughout your coaching program.

Check-in Form

Preparation for Coaching Session #3 & Beyond: Complete the Check-in Form

Prior to your third session—and before each subsequent session—you’ll complete a Check-In Form in your Nally Learning Hub. This form will inform your coach about the leadership topics you wish to focus on and document any new techniques you’ve implemented since your last session. It also serves as a progress tracker, helping you monitor your advancement toward your business and leadership goals.

After Actions Report

Post-Session Summary from Your Coach: Recieve the After Actions Report

After each session, your coach will complete an After-Action Report summarizing the topics discussed, highlighting key learnings and experiences, and detailing the actionable next steps. These reports will be available in your Nally Learning Hub after each session.

Throughout the program, the process of completing Check-In Forms before each session and receiving After-Action Reports from your Coach afterward will continue. Your custom Nally Learning Hub will enable you to dive deeper into essential management and leadership principles.
